Shield of Garo
The trapezoidal shield is cut from a wooden plate, which tapers in the middle. The visible side is provided with an incised, linear pattern, which is highlighted by black pigments.
A narrow strip of animal skin is glued to the upper edge of the shield.
The back is very elaborately designed with rattan wrappings, the bamboo handle is attached externally.
